SEV Üsküdar Elementary School is one of the oldest schools in Turkey.  Due to the lack of space in the present campus, the new Elementary School building was planned on a lot between the campus and Gazi Street.

One of the basic patterns in the campus is that all entrances to the buildings are from quadrangles.  The same pattern has also been used in the new building, whose entrance is from the ceremonial courtyard.  Because of security reasons and existence of the weekly bazaar on Gazi Street, no student access was given to the building from this street; instead, a service road joining the street to the campus was planned adjoining the neighboring parcel.

Classrooms for the 7th and 8th grades, labs, library, workshops, covered sports hall, cafeteria, conference hall for 480 and offices have been planned in the new building.  The new building is L shaped, with the classrooms facing Gazi Street.  An open amphitheater, which utilizes the level difference between the campus and the ceremonial courtyard, has been placed as part of the courtyard.
